I also sold Agger and so Medjani is finally ready for sme first team action after a few loan spells, my god that guy comes on at about 23/24 Schneijder continues to be amazing wherever I play him, and is probably the most consistent, versatile player i've had in Football Manager. Vanden Borre has really come through now, after the departure of Ponzio he's really nailed down the right back spot. Cisse and Pazzini both had 25 each in the league. Gerrard was undisputed star performer, scoring 23 goals from midfield, including 16 in only 25 league games. I won the Champions League for the 2nd time, Chelsea felt the full force of my attacking threat in the semis (7-2 aggregate) and then I beat Munich 3-1 in the final N'Zogbia won the best player award too! It was sweet revenge against Munich who beat me in the semis last year.

I finished 2nd in the league behind United but it was close all the way, now they've signed Kaka and Diego so it could be an other tough year to crack them. I just finished the 2008/09 season as Liverpool manager, and probably the most enjoyable so far
